# GDBA Positioning

### 2.1 What Is GDBA

GDBA is the utility token used in the GoldBridge Alliance ecosystem. GDBA is designed to be usable in bridge, swap, verification, issuance, distribution, settlement, node, and governance processes by verified gold RWAs and gold stablecoins.

### 2.2 What GDBA Is Not

GDBA does not mean:

* A stablecoin that guarantees gold prices
* A direct gold redemption right with a specific gold reserve as direct collateral
* An investment product guaranteeing returns
* A dividend or interest-paying product
* A guarantee tool guaranteeing individual gold RWA collateral responsibilities

### 2.3 Role Separation

| Category        | Description                                                                     |
| --------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| GDBA            | Ecosystem utility token                                                         |
| Gold RWA | Gold-based tokenized assets issued by individual issuers |
| Gold Stablecoin | Separately issued assets that can be linked to gold prices or gold assets |
| GDBA Bridge | Bridge connecting verified gold digital assets |
| Issuer | Entity responsible for custody and redemption of individual RWAs or stablecoins |

### 2.4 Key Message

> GoldBridge Alliance is not just another gold token. It is a shared infrastructure platform where verified gold RWA issuers, gold stablecoin projects, node operators, liquidity partners, and country distribution partners participate together.
